Where We Began
Rise Above Basketball places a MAJOR emphasis on the development of our youth level program. RAB was started with a single 3rd Grade team with the approach of fundamentally teaching, challenging & guiding players at a young age.
With much dedication and commitment from our coaching staff, RAB has established ourselves as one of the premier boys programs on the youth level in New England. The boys program offers teams from grades 3rd-Varsity.
Season Details
- Discounted skills and training camps
- Practices 1-2x per week (depending on grade)
- Former/current collegiate players and coaches on staff
- At least 5 tournaments locally ran in MA
- Destination tournaments depending on team (Spring)
- Take home skills & drills
Welcome Dan Gould
Rise Above Youth Director
Coach Gould played high school basketball at North Quincy High School where he was a four year letter winner. In his time at North Quincy, Gould was elected a 3 time Patriot League All-Star as well as a 3 time Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic selection. During his senior season, Gould helped lead North Quincy High School to the Division 1 South Sectional Final for the first time since 1972. After the historic run Gould was selected to the Boston Herald Dream team before going onto play for four years at Framingham State University. During his time at Framingham State, Gould was a two time captain and played over 90 games in his college career. Gould is currently the Freshman Basketball Coach at North Quincy High School.
